Chris Hemsworth is taking a break from acting and maybe Thor.

Several actors have become big stars because of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and Chris Hemsworth is one of the best examples of this.

Before the first Thor movie came out in 2011, his career took off like a bolt of lightning.

Now, he has a new action franchise with Netflix's Extraction and the new Disney+ show Limitless.

Limitless just started airing, and in the fourth episode, Hemsworth found out that he has a "strong" genetic tendency to get Alzheimer's disease as he ages.

Both of his parents have the APOE4 gene, which is thought to make people more likely to get the disease that makes people forget things.

So, he has decided to take a short break from acting so he can spend time with his wife, Elsa Pataky, and their three children.
