Google has ceased providing title tags for mobile search results for the full website, such as when searching for a website's name, which shows the main page. Subdomains aren't supported.

Mobile searches reveal a website's generic name.

Mobile searches for Search Engine Journal return a SERP with the site's generic name.

Google uses site names to help consumers find websites in search results.

This new function is accessible in English, French, Japanese, and German; more languages will follow in the coming months.
