Alexander O'Connor, better known as the musician Rex Orange County, has been charged with six counts of sexually assaulting a woman, the Sun said.
The 24-year-old reportedly abused the victim twice in London's West End and four times the following day, once in a cab and three times at his Notting Hill residence.
Apparently, she's above 16 years old.
On October 10, O'Connor showed up at Southwark crown court. He said he wasn't guilty of all six charges and was set free on bail.
A spokeswoman for the singer stated, "Alex is horrified by the charges, which he rejects, and looks forward to clearing his reputation in court." Due to pending processes, he can't speak more.
A provisional trial date has been set for 3 January 2023.
In July 2022, O'Connor canceled his scheduled tour dates in Australia, New Zealand, and Europe due to "unforeseen personal issues"
He "had to spend some time at home this year" and "could not continue with traveling as planned".
